It's worse here! While fuel is cheaper, the spread between regular gasoline and diesel is further apart. Regular gas at my favorite station is $3.03 and diesel is $4.99. This crazy difference in prices is really making me doubt being a diesel owner for the first time in 27 years. I've had a 6.2L or 6.5L as a daily driver for all of those 27 years, but if this stupid spread between gasoline and diesel continues to persist, I may be looking at getting a gasoline daily driver, which makes me really sad. I'm a diesel lover through and through. But the past few years it's been harder and harder to justify owning a diesel, as most of the benefits of diesel ownership have slowly been eroded away.
