2004 LLY Performance Mods

I've been pricing 2004 CC 4WD SLT's and am probably ordering one this week. However, I've also been monitoring this site for 6 months and have seen very little about whether all the mods on the LLY are actually an improvement. Also, there have been no posts on Edge or other performance products for the LLY. I want an Attitude, 4" exhaust, and improved intake as soon as I get it, but am concerned that there has been so little info about the new engines actually capability. For all I know, it may not have the actual potential of an LB7. Any help before I dump 40k. Also, when do they start producing 2005's?

The mods will be here, just gonna take a bit. The LLY hasn't been out that long. Word is, another vendor has a box coming, any day now,BUT based on past experience, first releases will likely be pressure boxes.

Van Aaken is also pretty close on the LLY.


Exhaust will fit both models.
