I know this has be ask in the past, But I thought sence it has been awhile, maybe we could update it.
Mine has 13,345 as of today and 331.3 hours, 40.25 mph, $953.84 in fuel, 698.58 gal @ $1.3654 per gal, 19.75 mpg. Approx 900 miles towing (I know mileage don`t look right, well that`s because I just filled up so that fuel is still in the tank)
By the way purchace date is Aug.09,2002
I noticed today that in T/H the grade braking does not work as well as in the past. Could it be the weather being cooler effects it? It seem to free wheel more, Very bad while still in 5th gear.
Best mileage: 22.3 on 517 mile trip. Worst mileage: 14.3 on 318 miles. (mostly towing)

Worst MPG not towing 19.7...westbound I-80 on a windy day (aren't they all) in Wyoming. Avg. speed 70.4 MPH)
1,810 of the above miles were towing.

My mileage does not include the 36.27 gal (at $1.449 per gal) of propane over the last 1800 miles or so.

Picked up in Sept. of 2001 with 66 on the meter.....and now have 43500 on the meter now.....about 27000 towing, GCVW of 22,500 ......mainly I get 17.9 city hwy.....21 Hwy.....and it varies for towing.....ave. around 9 maybe 10.....I'd have to look.....dmaxster

My truck was new in May 2001 - it now has 110,000 km (66,000 miles) - average mileage is 19-20 mpg (Imp gallons) Very few problems and absolutely NO REGRETS!!! :D

Got a funny "late build" '01 (without knowing it, just lucky I guess! tongue.gif
Modified airbox, one-piece steel driveshaft.
So far practically trouble-free and without any of the 2001 problems (leaking clearance lights, flying door locks, passenger cold air leak, idler pulley bearing, etc.) <KNOCK WOOD>!!
Did have the software reflashed at 500 miles and again at 30,000 for the "harsh 1st gear shift" and THAT'S IT! Been driving it and *loving it*!! :D
I'm just over 41,000 miles.
Haven't bothered recording mileage.
Belt tensioner replaced.
All computer updates.
One bad battery replaced.
Window switch replaced.
Had the driveshaft updated to the one piece.
No breakdowns. Truck really runs good except for occasional powerdowns on high speed, propane-on runs.
Complaints...
Stock radio even with upgraded speakers stinks.
Power steering doesn't work well when not rolling.
Likes....
Love the climate control. It really takes over nicely without much intervention at all.
The Allison is just too much. What a sweet transmission. There were times when I thought early on that it was giving me problems but now that I know this truck, I believe this drivetrain is really the best out there.
Pushbutton 4x4 has worked flawlessly and is really convenient although the autotrac option would really do it for me.
Interior is so far everything I would want it to be. Big, comfortable, easily reconfigured.

First tank of fuel: just over 15mpg all in town driving, taking larger tires into account. Still on my second tank, but computer states 17.4mpg.

I love this truck! Most comfortable (heated) bucket seats of any vehicle I owned. Wife and Kids prefer riding in it over the Family SUV and wife's luxury car. Just can't wait to drive it again tomorrow.

27,000 miles love this truck more everytime I drive it cant say that about previous ones. No complaints so far had one emblem replaced run about 21,000 lbs gross all summer pulls every pass no sweat.

purchased mine in feb 2002 love it tow fith whell and boat it plays with then tick disapeared at 20,000 km never came back 28000 km now. never had any problems.love it the best truck i ever owned

I was suprised by the avg mph considering I idle my truck alot (fueling, warming up & etc... I basically never turn her off) and I drive 90 miles per work day on Los Angeles freeways.

Left rear axle seal leaking again and will be serviced for free by the same dealership that supposedly fixed it the first time.
