L56 to L65 engine swap

Am installing a 1995 L65 engine into a 1995 Yukon with L56 engine bay. Have the computer for both engines. Should I switch to the L65 computer to eliminate EGR and other code problems?

Update: All you need to change is the chip, not the whole PCM.
