Was feeling pretty good about my local Chevrolet dealer. They had gone to bat for me on some warranty work involving my 2003 K3500 some months ago, and I decided to buy a new 2005 Duramax a few weeks ago from them. Overall a good experience.
The 'relationship' was going great...
Looked at my odometer as I neared their exit, turning over 12,000 miles so I decide to stop in and see if they could do a quick external tranny filter and fuel filter swap.
"No problem for you..." says the smiling service advisor. (Boy do I feel important today!!!)
I wander over to the salesmans office, shoot the breeze about fuel prices - and to ogle the receptionist. Less than 30 minutes later, the job is done!
Then comes the bill... $130.09.
(Next time I'll buy a box of NAPA filters and do it myself - but I'll still stop in from time to time to ogle the receptionist.)
