Anyone using the Power Pup Triple Dog? I want to add a little power to tow, added mpg would be a bonus. I heard that a PPE downloader is safer, is that true? My priorities are engine/tranny safety, added towing power, ease of use and a little increase in mpg. I am not interested in racing or other modifications. I use my truck as a daily driver. thanks

If engine and tranny safety are major concern, Edge with Attitude would be my choice and do not go beyond level 4.

scottdiesel,

If you get the Outlook monitor with the Power Pup then you have a pyro and safety EGT defueling functions that should keep you safe. However what John said is true the Edge w/Attitude is the accepted safe product, but the Bully Dog is getting more popular everyday. Give us a call if you have any questions etc.

Beware of Bully Dog. I ve seen nothing but problems out of them. This new one may not, but the other ones increased rail press which made the power curve short and peaky and have been known to cause some leaks.

I ordered the Edge EZ today. I will have it next week...can't wait! :D

Bought it from Diesel Performance Parts.
