Hi,

I seem to notice when under load a sound that is a bit hard to describe... it could be a high speed low friction grinding... or high velocity air escaping... the thing is that is fluctuates with the ride ( smoothness ) go away and coming back ( only underload ) as you hit the small bumps on the road...

The truck seems to run hot as well, so I was thinking it could be a turbo leak, loose clamp... or ?

Anyone else hearing this, any ideas?

Go over the intercooler hoses, tubing and clamps, looking for loose fittings. We've heard about loose clamps before...

It's a good idea for everyone to spend at least 30 minutes going over their new (or newly acquired) truck looking for anything out of the ordinary (like loose clamps, loose/missing bolts, chafed wiring, etc.) inside and outside the truck.

Agreed for sure. I always grab the tool box and check out the tightness of everything I can get to when I buy something new. Used to be so many things loose, they're getting better and better though. This truck was almost flawless--almost.
