Did my first oil change on the rig today and was actually the first time I could get under the hood and look things over. Was amused to find the same assembly problems I found on my Dodge/Cummins trucks.
The clamps to the hose leading from air box to turbo were LOOSE. :( I then decided to check the inter cooler hoses and found 6 out of the eight were loose. :eek: A potential for lost boost pressure. But since I don't have a gauge installed yet, I really can't tell if I had a loss of boost. But it seems a little more responsive on the launch.
SO, those of you who feel your "03's" are down on power may want to check the clamps on the inter cooler hoses. The harder it was to get to them, the more loose I found them.
Oh yeah, that oil filter was really on there tight. Was nice to see grease zerks too, maybe the front end will stay together.
