Thanks to all that provide the good quality information that gives this website it's reputation it deserves. Last week after reserching my idle problem and finding the thread about some of the fuel pressure regulators going bad it got me thinking. I brought this information to my dealer and after a quick check of the pressure on the fuel rail with a TECH 2 and found the problem right away.
I saw in the posts that the whole pump was replaced in the case of a failed reg valve but now GM is R&R'ng just the regulator. Anyway, got her back good as new this afternoon.
