Today I was in South Houston and I coasted into Houston Performance Diesel and left with a AFE stage 1 intake and Juice 4.61. I went with the stage 1 as I can't really see paying that much extra for a solid intake tube that is a PITA to work with. I went with regular Juice for now to help save my trans, as i know if i have the extra horses I would be running hot#4 all the time. I may go totally insane in the future and have it upgraded to HOT. Who knows. Life is too short to play around and whatch it go by. I have preached before here that I wouldn't mess with the electronics with my 40K truck but I couldn't take it anymore.
The airbox for the AFE is somewhat of a PITA to fit as I had my headlight harness wiring right there. Once I got it in its a good fit. I also got the AFE shower cap prefilter. The turbo whistle in my cab isn't too much louder but I like it, it sounds nice. It's bitchin with the windows down.I put a pic of it in my duramax album
