Wet Amsoil Oil Filter???

My $3.00 WalMart container didn't keep the rain out and now I have two oil filters for the DuraMax that has been wet and sounds like there's still some water in it. I'm not that cheep not to buy new filters, but the delima exist... What to do with the two I have. I use one for a paperweight and the other to play catch with the neighborhood kids. Any other suggestions?

I would pitch them. Rust would be my first concern, and then damage to the paper fibers would be second. Paper can get stiff when wet/dried.
