problem withcruise cont.

have had CC not come on about 4 or 5 times over the last few months. this usualy happens after i use my CC on long trips 200 miles or more, anybody else had this happen to them, thanks in advance,joe

I notice it happening when I start it up and put it in drive right away (within 1-2 secs). Seems like the ECM gets a brain fart when it doesn't have enough time to do its functions check before you drive off. If I wait 5 or more seconnds before I put it in drive, I never have a problem.

I've had the same problem. I've had to stop, turn it off, and restart to get cruise back. I complained to the dealer. Of course, he couldn't duplicate it. But, now it's on record in case it gets worse after the warranty period.

Had it happen twice this week. Both times I tapped the brake pedal and it came on.
