used my gtech competion, to find out when i go with the power pup downloader set to 85 hp stacked with the 110hp vanaken e box it will result in about half a second faster 1/4 mile times(14.52sec. with a truck weighing in at 8055 pounds with myself) but my horspower shown by the gtect works out in the range of 360 to 380hp, far under others here, i do have one higher seting to go which would be about 10 more horse, but when i try it, i always put the trans into limp mode, when i set the truck back to stock power settings, it will only show 220 horse, not the 246 every claims stock horse is, can someone tell me if their is something i am doing wrong with the gtech, or is my stack just weak. thanks freds (starting with 1800rpm starts)

The Gtech measures a kinda funny HP. It takes into account losses like wind resisance and such. Reported numbers around here tend to be from the chassi dyno. One of those just measure loss in the drivetrain.
