Tire Question

Thinking about buying a 3500 dually 4x4 crew cab and i don't like the tire size that comes on them and was wondering if 265r75 would fit or would they rub in the middle. If these won't work, what tire size would give me that highth without rubing in the center of the duals. Thanks...

Typically the tires on the 3500s are upgraded to 235/85/16s E, but with the 2001 model, wheel off-set for the duals has changed(less off-set). Unless you switch to an aftermarket wheel(with more off-set)or run spacers you're pretty much stuck with the 215s. The problem is that wider tires rub(between duals) under heavy loads. Not to mention trying to reprogram for the speedo, ABS and shift points.
