I'm curious if you can get an ideal controler for the D-Max like ford has for there truck from the factory?

you mean idle? If you do you can do a high idle mod to your truck and get it to idle up when turned on. I agree though, my dads 550 automaticly idles itself up and down. Still dont understand why GM didnt add this into the programing? :confused: :mad:

I installed modified's high idle install last friday and if I could do it, anybody can. very simple with no extra switches. go to kennedys diesel page and look under tech tips and follow directions except pull the power from the brake switch tranny solonoid and you get the 12 volts until you step on the brake and shift into gear
