surging idle fix maybe

well guys i have been having problems with the surging idle issue ever since i bought this truck in august i have had all the updates that could be done. anyway i went back to the dealer yesterday i they think they might have found the problem. at idle the injection pump is not regulating the fuel correctly, it is spiking like crazy and it is very consistent with the surging. so they have ordered a new injection pump and maybe next week i will be able to tell yall if this has worked or not. i hope this does not turn out to be like my 94 6.5 i went threw 3 pumps in 6 months and gave the truck back.

I only have 50 miles on a 05'3500, but their definately is a surge to the idle. There is also a surge to the transmission when stopped at a light in Drive. It is very slight but you can feel the tranmission oscialte in and out of "power transfer" to the rear wheels. The brakes do not feel as firm as my 03' as well.

I'm hoping a few hundred miles will let things settle in.
