Turbo rebuild/upgrades - Majestic Turbo

I've looked at a lot of the posts here and never seen much about people modifying the actual turbo. I spoke to Majestic Turbo in TX and they can rebuild and upgrade the turbo for about $425. He said they could clip the fins and lighten it up some for better low end response. Anybody done any of these types of upgrades or had any experience with Majestic?

6.5 GM-x turbos have plenty of low end responce and comprimised upper end.
Likely you need FUEL.

cliping the turbine also adds cross sectional area to the turbine wheel to free up some backpressure.

modifying a GM-8 may be a good choice, but if you are like me and was stuck with a GM-4......
