Hypertech power programmer III

Does this unit raise the fuel pressure at the injectors or does it just change the timing of spray? I don't want to raise the pressure for fear of causing injector failure due to leaks. Thanks in advance.

I don't know the answer (even though I'd guess it's timing), but why not send the question to Hypertech. They've answered my e-mail questions. You don't have to believe them, but I can't see why they would lie either.

The performance aftermarket went away from raising fuel rail pressure soon after the injector leak issues were discovered.

We're supposed to be getting an evaluation programmer/tuner from HyperTech to include in an upcoming P/T article. Will know more then...

Thanks for the replys. I wrote hypertech, waiting on a reply. Keep me posted Morepower. I want to get a module of some sort. Just not sure which one yet.
