Mega filter question.

My filter kit came with a O ring. I assume I put it between the nipple and the base? Or between the nipple and the filter?

The o-ring you are refering to seals the nipple to the mount.

The filter has it's own seal.

Sorry, revised in kit, and not on ibnstall overview...

Oring not necessary, but helps keep the nipple screwed into base when changing filters. Current instructions say thread sealant. Either way is fine. I do NOT recommend Loctite though as if there ever were a need tio remove the nipple, it would be destroyed...

Thanks, thats what I figgured, but wanted to check before i get started this afternoon and end up doing something twice.
