Allison Question

Hey Everyone, new member here and my first post. I've had my truck for 2 1/2 weeks now and I'm starting to notice something that might be normal with the Allison.

I cold start my truck, let it idel for a minute or so and take off. If I happen to need to get up to speed right away (leaving work) the torque converter will not lock for the first mile or so.

Is this normal? Otherwise I love the truck, but I don't want to ignor something that could be a sign of a problem to come.

It's alright, it won't lock until it can see the temp. that it wants to see on the transmission, everything is normal.

Yup, when it gets cold out, it will take a few miles.
