Getting ready to by on 04 LLY 3500

I am getting ready to buy a 04 3500 Crew Cab 4X4 LT D/A LLY Loaded to pull my new 40'enclosed car trailer with. There are 2 trucks I am presently looking at one MSRP is 48,475 and the other is 49,770 what kind of out the door price range should I look for to know I'm getting a "good deal" what is the aprox., invoice on these. I know they upped one of the rebates to 750 from 500 and they still have the 2500 on. The main option differance between them is one has the entertainment system in it with the DVD player. Does any one have this and is it worth the extra money.

Here's a simple project for you:

Assuming the trucks are "in stock" you should be able to locate them using the GM buypower site and print out the window sticker.

With the sticker in hand you can go to kbb.com and price the truck with the exact options. You'll end up with MSRP and Invoice price. There will probably be one or two line items on the actual invoice that aren't accounted for on the kbb invoice price (regional advertising, for example), but it'll get you pretty close. Much closer than any of us can guess from the limited description in your post.

There was a loaded GMC 2500HD I was looking at near me with an MSRP sticker price around $48K. The invoice price on it is $43K.

So subtract about $5K and you'll be pretty close.

Sticker is $44,753.00. I am getting it for $39,456.68.


$43,401.68 out the door. That is with 0%, not the $2500 rebate.
