IT's here! 03 3500 GMC

I am now the owner of a new GMC 3500SLT 4WD summit white. I have been wanting a DURAMAX for two years! I ordered it the first week of June when my dealer called and said they just received an allocation for a 2003 diesel. We immedeatly received a TWP of June 10th with a delivery date the last week of June!! Well after a couple days I noticed that I failed to ordered the " heated" leather seats. We had to pull the order back and change it. The new TPW was July 22nd, with delivery date of Aug. 6th. It was delivered a week early!!! Last week of july.
It is a Summit White 3500SLT Locking Diff. Heated Leather Seats, and ALL the goodies I wanted. I have been a Chevy man for many years, but just couldn't take the new look, so I went with GMC and I am not disapointed. I went with the 3500 because Wifey has her eye on a 15000# Teton 5er. Thanks for all the info I have been reading here for the past few months. I hope I can contribute in the future.
NOW come the MODS, after my bank account recovers.

Now THAT is one GOOD looking TRUCK.......I am all CHEVY but GMC got the good looking truck on 03 ........If I were to trade up that is what my replacement would be.......Once again good luck,good decision, and DON'T spoil it, getting it dirty .......LOL

I forgot to mention, I have an appointment the 6th of Sept. in Iowa to have a kelderman air bag suspension installed. It will have an air compressor and tank with a quick connect coupler so I can fill tires or anything else that needs air. I will let you all know how it works out. We will be heading on to Wyoming for three weeks of trout fishing and 4-wheeling......Later

Welcome to the group. Your truck looks very nice. I really like that color of leather.

The question is, have you stopped driving around the block yet and are you making up excuses to run here and there. Been there and still riding around the block.

Now that is one sweet looking truck :D keep us up to date on the kelderman air bag suspension! Still waiting and hoping that some day mine will arrive 03 3500 marine blue CC D/A tongue.gif
