Going snowmobiling this weekend and going to tryout my new juice chip with 5th wheel and 2 up trailer. Tried to get pyro installed but BD didn't send the thermo copular so I won't be able to have the assurance of a pyro. Anybody tow 10000# in level 2 with any problems? Should I keep in level one or just turn off? Help is appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving

Just towed in level two with no problems. It went up the hill without out downshifting in an area that it normally does. EGTs stayed around 1000. Was towing my 2,000 pd dump trailer with about 8,000 in it.Great product--- got it from JK------thanks!!

I did 7,000 miles in October towing 10,000 fifth wheel. California to Florida and back through Colorado on I70. Used Juice 2 most of the way. Highest EGT was around 1100.

I run mine in level 2 all the time, even when I weigh 34K. I have even run in 3 at that weight, and the temps are actually cooler than without the juice. You will be fine. The worst time for getting hot seems to be when I run at 55 in OD (1600 rpm). Better to shift it down and run at that speed in 4th (2200 rpm). The dyno chart from Edge shows torque peak at about 2200.

We have a combined weight of 22,000 lbs. and have no problems pulling our rig back and forth on I-5 between Vancouver, B.C. and Indio CA. There is a lot of mountain driving and we have had no problems, we tow in tow/haul mode.

JFILE, do you have the standard juice or the Super Juice. Level 1 on the Super Juice is the same as level 2 on the regular juice.

Very good point Russ. I really tow in level 1 since I upgraded to the Hot Juice.

Kev - that weight is with 24 3x3x8 bales of alfalfa @ 1000#, plus truck and trailer. Fortunately, it is only 18 miles of rolling hill, at 6000' of altitude. Normally, with 6 horses I weigh about 24,000. This is by far the best truck I have ever had!!!!!
