View Full Version : RPO code LQF - More Power?

I found a list of GM RPO codes at http://www.gm-trucks.com/GMfullRPOlist.pdf It list many interesting engines and power options, like a turbo charged V-12. But LQF is listed, not as an engine, but as a power option.

LQF Duramax 6.6L 300HP/860 LB FT TQ@2200. Anyone heard what this may be for? If its a "power option" this leads me to believe that its the same engine with a different management system to generate more power.

Sounds like an In-line six? It might be the 6.6 max built with a longer stroke? :confused: Let me know when you find out.

I think that is the CAT 3126 inline six. Those spec's are the same as my 1999 C8500 10 wheeler dump truck.
