egt control box

I have a 03. Where is everyone taking power for the control box for the egt gauage. I will use the brw/wht wire for gauage lights.

I just installed an EGT gauge last weekend on my 03. My gauge is in the MDRAG location and the thermo is in the HOOT location :D . I ran power from the IGN fuse that is in the upper left corner of the fuse panel. It only has power when the key is on.

I also ran my backlight for the gauge to the Brown/White Stripe wire behind the headlight switch so it would dim with the rest of the gauges.

You can also tap into the ILLUM in the drivers side fuse panel. They will dim and it is easier to hook up.

I see you have an 03'. Don't know if its the same. All the fuse stuff seems to be different than 01'-02'.
