Had 700 miles on the new truck when I had the oil changed and hooked on to the 31' fifth wheel and we towed it up to the Canadian Border and back, for a total of 3000 miles round trip.
Truck ran great no problems, milage not fully figured yet but at this point looks to be better than the 04 Ford superduty I made the trip with last year.
I think the Chev has some features that I like better than the Ford and also a couple on the Ford that I like better, the mirrors on the Ford seem to work better for me, but there is something to be said for the auto in and out feature.
And a big plus, I did not have to go to a Dealer
and get either a intercooler hose replaced, or a complete intercooler replacement like I did with the Ford!
I think this Duramax is going to work out great!
