Water Temp Gauge

I have a 2005 LLY DMAX that runs what seems to me to be a little bit high water temp. I am one single line (maybe even past it a little) from 210 degrees. Is this normal? My Suburban (5.3L gas) runs two lines over from 210 degrees. Any need to check or change the thermostat? Thanks in advance.

You might consider having the dealer read the actual engine temperature using a Tech II Scan tool. Dash gauges are usually somewhat "close", but not exact.

You can also read engine temp using a Predator programmer.
