26K lbs in tow - no sweat.

Today I overloaded my 25' trailer with hay for a short trip of 15 miles from one customer to another. (Didn't want to make two trips...)

The D/A combo accelerated and decelerated the load easily using tow/haul mode. The trans temp hovered around 180-190 despite outside temps in the mid 80s.

:D No question they will handle it, but my experience is thaat the trans will heat up with heavy loads at high speeds in overdrive. That is why so many hotshot guys that constanty overload prefer manuals.
