I got My new 2001 4x4 Dmax 6 months ago and have aprox. 8500 miles on it.
I am very happy with the truck so far the one big problem I had was at 2000 miles the Allison trany. went out so I took in to the dealer and they told me it was the hydraulic pump. I went nuts I wanted my money back but after talking with the man who was going to do the work I felt better. He told me that Allison would not let the dealer touch the trany. ,They wanted it back to look at it, and I would be better off with a new one. I have not had any problems with the truck other than the trany. I guess it ticks but I don
