Sluggish Steering

Is there any solution to a sluggish power steering issue? When my truck is at idle it seems to have pretty tough steering at times. I figured it was just because of the low idle speed of the diesel engine. It seems to be a little easier at fast idle. I usually let er warm up for a couple of minutes before taking off, but yesterday I was running a little late. I left my parking spot and it turned real easy at a faster idle. Thanks, Jason

If the system has never been flushed, it is probably about time. But more immediate, I would guess the pump is probably going bad or is a dead :eek:

If you replace it, make sure the system is flushed, or you will let all the nastys start eating the new pump. Been there done that.
