Just ran across an advertisement for the Workhorse Power Chip @ 888luvdiesel.com. It seems to be a pressure controling program. They say no need for intakes or exhaust changes, or EGT monitering devices! I seem to remember reading here that pressure increasing was a bad thing! Anyone out there heard of this animal?! Any comments?

I believe a connection exists between pressure boxes and at least some of the injector fuel leaks we've heard about. TDP turned down doing a couple of product reviews early on for products that relied on increasing fuel-rail pressure because of this connection.

Unless the box you're mentioning monitors exhaust temperature and then reduces fuel when some preset is reached, you may be putting your engine at risk by not having an exhaust temperature gauge.
