Okay having a problem with the Hummer. It's a '94 6.5 NA with 22,000 miles. I use either Marathon or Shell diesel with Stanadyne additive. It stalled and wouldn't restart after a 15 minute drive. 20 mins later it restarted and I got it home quick.
I changed the fuel filter and purged the line by opening the purge valve while cranking until fuel came out. It started and ran fine in the garage.
Drove it again last week and the same thing happened. I opened the purge valve on a hunch and air rushed out. Purged it again, cranking until fuel came out. Now I have to purge it every mile or so. Air getting in the fuel line? How and what to do?
