servicing air filter

I have a little over 10,000 miles on my AFE stage 1 air filter. At what point do you guys clean it? The restriction gauge still hasn't moved. I consider my self to drive in normal urban conditions with a treck through dusty conditions about once a month.

The dirt capturing ability for many of the oiled foam/gause performance air filters actually improves as stuff accumulates on the element. I suppose the best time to clean it would be when you notice a decrease in max boost pressure, the vacuum gauge begins to respond or it appears visually to have accumulated enough debris to warrant a cleaning.... All pretty subjective.
