Performance Diesel?

After meandering through the GM Insiders news I came across a discussion on a Chevrolet Performance Diesel truck. The truck boasts 700# of torque. Has anyone heard of this?

I thought the comment about the intercooler was interesting. Mine already has one. It also sounds like they want to be more competitive with the new Ford with the built in brake controller. Good. That's a nice feature as are all the others described.
