New Truck question

Looking at buying a new diesel, never have owned a chevy yet. What are some things to look for in a new diesel? Things to avoid? Etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, I saw that. Thanks. I was more specifically asking about problems with the new trucks. This truck will be a 2005 and I understand there are changes coming down. I did a search, saw the changes, but nothing about if they are good or bad.

I wouldn't expect many changes for 2005. Just keep watch on 2004 LLY owner reports as more of them are put into service (i.e. cooled EGR and Garrett turbo).
