I sure hope the climate control last longer than it did in the older GM units..plus who ever listens to cassettes anymore?

that is one of the best pics of a 03 I have seen yet..It doesn't look quite so ugly from that angle..

I think it was one of the worse angles I've seen. :( I love all the buttons on the steering wheel. Really handy. What concerns me is that the red line appears to be about 3200 RPM. Are some of us not already hitting 3400 regularly using T/H on a descent?

Paintdude -- I use my cassette player quite often. Of course I have the CD's for music, but I am also in the habit of picking up an audio book at the local library when I go on a long trip. Many of them are still on cassette. I'm glad I have the choice of players in my truck for that reason. I like it so much in fact, that I added a cassette player to my wife's Malibu for the same reason. We just returned from a trip to Florida, and 'read' "The Great Train Robbery" on the way.

I just bought my 2002 and got it out the door for $40400.00 loaded+ extras and Karl Tyler Chevrolet (Missoula MT) flew me in and wined and dined me...this one is no where near a good deal

Nels, I guess that answers my question...I have never even put a tape in my last 2 trucks..I didn't like the extra center console just for cd storage and tape deck.I wanted the floor space with buckets...So I didn`t get the tape with this one, just CD..Saved like 200 bucks on the option.

I do like the way they put it in the dash of the 03 so you can get that option without the center console,I assume..
