New 450 Horsepower Duramax--Standard

I just got a Chevrolet brochure in the mail. It lists the Duramax horsepower/torque to be 450/605. Man I could hardy believe that. In fact, after a while I didn't and did some checking. Elsewhere in the same brochure it show HP/torque to be 310/605. Had me going though.

I think the 450 / 605 listing is for the differnt engine options.... I think they offerd lower hp and tq for munisapal spec truck... The highway dept guys only get what they need , No tire burners!
