Block Heater Throwing Code

It's finally getting cold enough here in the mountains to use the block heater again. Last year I quit using it because it continually threw an error code. Anyone know if they have a fix for it yet. It's an '02 2500HD.

Stop into the dealer and he should be able to do a programming update to fix this.

DO NOT let him change any parts like the fuel temp sensor, programming only...

what code was setting?

I remember hearing about some block heaters that were arcing where the cord attaches to the block heater and throwing a code.
