Something you may want to check - I installed a rear seat video setup in my '02 and when running the lead from the remote positive terminal - the one in the red plastic box at the left front of the engine - I found the smaller lead exiting the box pinched between the larger cable and the metal grounding bar. With less than 5000 miles on the truck, the smaller lead had already started to develope a worn spot against the grounding bar. Wouldn't have been a pretty picture if it had continued. I simply re-routed the smaller lead behind the larger cable and nothing rubbing now.
