I have a good relationship with my dealer. I am taking the truck in on Friday and they are going to make sure it has all the latest software updates. The "reason" I will be bringing it in is because of some blue smoke on start up on cold mornings, 20*. Truck runs great. Service writer says this will be a good time to check all software updates on PCM,TCM and ECM. Now here's where I need some help. IIRC, I should have them make sure the injectors are working properly and have them check the "fuel curve". Is this correct? Any other suggestions? Truck has 18,000 miles and is stock.
I guess what I am asking is, if the tech checks the systems on the truck is there some way to do it incorrectly? Or does the Tech 2 check all the system(s)?
Thanks again
