Hey,
I just wanted to know what everyone is paying for fuel. I'm at $1.699. This really put me in a spin, a week ago it was $1.45. This sucks

I found the other thread, it seems that we are all getting it. Its to bad that the off road stuff is just a fine away.

Can off road diesel fuel or home heating fuel be used in the truck without any problems?
I have heard that the fuel has a dye in it. I would imagine that the dye would leave traces in the fuel system or filters. What kind of trouble can you geti n for using it?
My dad just bought a new duramax also and he had a 500 gallon tank on his farm that he gets filled up often for putting fuel in his tractors n stuff.. hmmmmmmm...

Yes you can use the Ag fuel, but God help you if you get caught by the state or HiWay DOT cops! I've seen them check Diesel trucks when pulling them over for other violations. They'll push a flexible stick down your fuel tank inlet and check fuel color. Big time fines, and in some states, they TAG the vehicle down! Meaning you can't drive it again until the problem is fixed. Also, you can kiss your warranty goodbye. Not worth it!!!!
Good news: As of yesterday the Price of Diesel Fuel began to fall back down in my area. It's Now at $1.59 and falling? It's already dropped back down $.20 at some stations from just a few days ago? WOW, that's the first time I've seen a sudden drop. It Usually it takes months to come back down and a day to go up?
