I have a tank at the house that is being filled with 20% Soy Diesel. Is there anything wrong with running it in this truck? Seems to me that the lubricity should be better with B20, is this correct?

Much better, however when I use B20 I put no more than 10 gallons in a full tank [30] I think benifits occur at the B5 level. As soy diesel has less btu's than regular diesel it really dosent make sense to pay a lot more for the extra amount of soy diesel. Milage will probably go down at the B 20 level but no different at B5 level.

I also use the Hillbilly Jim method in my early 04 LB7. I mix ~10 gallons of B20 into my 26 gallon tank. BTW, It runs great and gets great MPG. I'd make sure you're getting your fuel from a reputable dealer.

We used my 2005 to tow my 2002 on a 25' car trailer (11k in tow) out to the DP Pull Off, and pulled the hill on B20 minimum. I had more like 33% in my 2002 for the pull.
MPG towing was right around 11mpg and we ran 77-78 when posted limits allowed.
Now bear in mind, GM only approves of B5, but MAN I love the smell...
