I've heard that GM has extended the warantee on D-Max injecters to 250 thousand miles. Heard that a year or two ago. Recently, MP stated that it was 200,000. Now, my son has been told by the local Chevy dealer's service manager that the warantee is good to 100 K, the same as any other part of the engine. Who's right?
My son is in process of buying a 2003 one ton. We'd both like to know.

GM has extended the warranty on injectors in the 2001-2002 trucks for 200K miles. The injectors must fail for certain reasons (most noteably - cracked injector bodies which dump fuel into the crankcase).
The standard DMAX warranty is 5yr / 100K miles.
For those with 2003 and newer trucks, GM has supposedly indicated they will address these trucks on a repair by repair basis. I suspect if the injector fails due to crack bodies, they would be warrantied beyond the 100K miles.

Dog-gone it! I'm really not dyslexic! Look at that spelling! I should sit with a dictionary open in my lap at all times. Sorry guys. I'll try to do better.
Ida May Anderson would flip if she saw what I was doing to her grammar class!
