slow take off

hi i have a 04 with a lly engine and 17,000 miles on it. when hitting it hard from a stop it won't get up and go until it hit 2500 rpm. it was better than this when new. what could be going wrong

Have you changed your fuel filter?

yes fuel filter was changed at 14,000 miles

I installed a edge EZ from John realy helped out the truck is fun to drive again. Not quit as quck as my old 6.5 on the take off but when it hit 1800 hang on!

My lly is sitting at 21000 on the OD and I'm starting to see the same thing, sit on the pedal and it feels like an hour before something happens. Checking out things under the hood when I discovered my filter is plugging. I have my eye on the AFE stage 2, Just have to find the best deal (man the aftermarket performance parts are expensive, pay to play I reckon).
