Does anyone have the Wix fuel filter no.for the newer filter? Is it ff8736?

A Forum search on "WIX" turned up the following topic in which a post by member BigO states the new WIX fuel filter P/N is 33910. An application lookup at www.wixfilters.com (http://www.wixfilters.com/filterlookup/index2.asp?Section=2&Make=81&SubMake=&Model=&SubModel=&Engine=36016&Year=2003&TempSection=2&TempMake=81&TempModel=&TempEngine=36016&TempYear=2003) also yielded the following:

"Part Number: 33910
UPC Number: 765809339101
Principal Application: Chevy-GMC Trucks w/ 6.6L Duramax Diesel (01-05) - This number will supercede 33810"

WIX filters are top quality but the OE Duramax fuel filter design is proprietary and only made by RACOR. So a Duramax fuel filter in a WIX box will be made by RACOR. Several of The Diesel Page Advertisers also sell Duramax fuel filters.
