When are we going to be able to start ordering 2003s?

Hello Folks,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I actually ordered a 2002 D/A EC LB Chevy in December of 2001, but when I found that it wasn

I heard, but it's not definite that Chevy is supposed to start placing orders on the MY 2003 next week. I am not sure if this includes diesel, actually I heavily doubt it but you never know. I did hear that the Quadrasteer is something like a $5700 option. I think it would be handy, but not that handy. :eek: :eek: :rolleyes:

Quadrasteer will only be available in '03 on 1500 models. The only limiting factor for diesel build to begin on time will be DMax plant capacity. If they have enough on hand to finish '02 build-out it should not affect timing of '03. This is the latest info I have and I order the trucks for D'Arcy GMC in Joliet, IL.

I was told that we can order 2003 GMC's on Thursday May 2nd. I'll post if I was able to order '03's. However, an order means nothing untill it is "plucked" by the factory.

Speaking of Quadrasteer we got our first one in yesterday. I'm not in sales but if anyone wants to come drive it let me know.
