Not sure if this should be in this section or not, but here goes anyway. Installed the juice with attitude today. Used the ATS mounting adapter for the overhead console. Didn't take me long to decide that I didn't like it there. In order to read it, I have to lean toward the center of the truck and duck down a little. The monitor points down too much and looks straight back. Hard to see in daylight. Anyone else have this same situation? I guess I'll look at other options.

Thanks for any comments and suggestions.

We sell a mount that angles the unit properly by insetting the button side for a good view:

JK's Attitude mount looks pretty nice. The following image shows another possibility.

I installed this one about a week ago. These paint-to-match plastic mounts are produced by Edge, and are available through any Edge dealer (including JK, U.S. Diesel Parts, etc.). It's angled toward the driver somewhat, and I can read the monitor while driving.

Thanks John and MP for the information. I actually have the mount that is shown in John's reply. It is from ATS Performance. They have redesigned it recently to provide the angle toward the driver. Mine is obvsiously an older one. I am going to see if it can be modified to give the angled I want.
I have driven the truck some with the Juice installed and boy what a difference. I have only run it on level 2 for now, and it seems quicker and stronger. (Seat of the pants feeling may not be real though).

Thanks again.

Personally, I think that if you use the EGT management capability of the E/A, having it in an overhead mount is fine. Visibility there, while acceptable, is not as good as on the driver's A-pillar no matter how well angled it might be.

In addition to the overhead mount, I also installed a set of Autometer EGT/Boost gauges in an A-Pillar pod. Aside from looking cool, this combo also provides a very visable combination.

I still need to drill/tap the driver's side exhaust manifold for the pyrometer, but will likely wait till after the Pull-Off (http://www.thedieselpage.com/features/pulloff2005.htm) this coming weekend... (to avoid any last minute snafu.) smile.gif
