Truck Net Weight

What is the average DRY (empty) weight of a 3500 4x4 ext cab? I scaled my truck Sat. it weighed 7,500 #'s. Had half tank a fuel and all my CHIT in it (rail to rail tool box loaded) ........The reason I ask same specs less CHIT in it, and my 98 scaled 7,800+ #'s...... Not only do I have a superior truck but man it's light...1 HP for every 25#'S pre "JUICE"......Is this close or was the scale off ?..... :D :D :D

2001 Crew Cab Duallie Duramax/ Allison weighs 7200 lbs empty

If better be a 4x4 if not he better get his truck on Jenney Craig............Plain and simple........If not heck I'M all set,my truck must be bulimic,sticks it finger in the turbo wastegate and It spews TIRE SMOKE tongue.gif ......I weighed it at a scrap yard so if anything it (scale) was reading light.....

I just had my truck weighed at a CAT certified scale and with about 10 gallons of fuel and myself sitting in it, it weighed in at 7750 pounds. I also had the two toolboxes mounted in the bed that I would estimate weighed 75 to 100 pounds each. Hope this helps, Scott

Extended Cab short bed, Allison, Dmax scaled in at 6700, Same truck with 6.0 scaled in at 6300. Both were not with full tanks.

I am lucky enough to live right above a blacktop plant, I know the people that run the scales. My 2002 3500 cc lb with the options shown below including 4 2' 6x6 leveling blocks, full of fuel and no one in the truck it weighed 7,760lbs. Rear axel 3,580 front 4180

With the 5er I haul total gross is 20440
Truck only with 5er attached 9720
trailer pin weight 1960
front axel w/trailer 4180
rear axel w/trailer 5540
trailer both axel weight 10720
