What is the correct size fuel line to the IP from the filter using the old style secondary filter that bolts to the intake? The In is 3/8 tube (inverted flare) with 3/8 or 7/16 threads, but the Out is 1/4 tube (inverted flare) with 9/16 threads (just like what is used on master cylinders). However, the fitting on the pump is 1/4 inverted flare threads but with a 5/16 hose nipple. I don't have the original tubing so I'm making up my own. Is a 1/4 tube big enough to supply the IP with fuel, or should I somehow get to 5/16? What would you do? Thanks.
