Pump up, idle down?

I turned the pump up, and I'm really loving the new power, but the idle seems higher now?

Should I lower the idle (set screw on outside of pump where accelerator cable connects)?

Shouldn't be a problem, turn down the screw, it's kinda hard to get to with the cruise control pod sitting on top though. Also make sure your fast idle solenoid isn't engaged all the time. You can verify this by unplugging it while the engine is running.

But, I've had this problem with a new pump, not just turning it up.
